India has signed a major defense deal with France to purchase 26 Rafale fighter aircraft worth 630 billion rupees ($7.4 billion) for its navy.
France and India sign a ₹63,000 crore ($7.4 billion) deal to buy 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets Under this deal the Indian Navy will get 22 single-seater jets and 4 double-seater jets. The jets are expected to be delivered by 2031.

These jets will help make India’s defense stronger. The order includes 22 single-seat jets and 4 double-seat jets. The delivery of the jets will start by 2030. Also, Indian pilots and crews will get training in both France and India to operate these jets.
