Bangladesh city Dhaka is taking a major step to tackle air pollution by installing 50 advanced air purifiers in key locations, each with the cleaning power of 100 trees. The initiative, fully funded by sponsors, aims to provide quick relief from the city’s poor air quality without using public money. Alongside this, new rules will require battery-powered rickshaws to use lithium batteries and limit licenses to prevent syndicates. These efforts mark a significant move towards a cleaner and healthier Dhaka.
