PANews reported on April 30 that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released a document announcing the postponement of its decision on the listing applications for the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF and the Franklin XRP Fund. The SEC stated that it needs more time to evaluate the proposals for related rule changes, extending the final decision deadline for the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF to June 15 and for the Franklin XRP Fund to June 17. The SEC stated in the document: 'The Commission believes it is necessary to extend the review period to ensure there is sufficient time to evaluate the content of the proposals and the related issues involved.' Bloomberg Industry Research ETF analyst James Seyffart stated: 'In my view, this is expected; most of the final deadlines for these applications are in October 2025 or later.'
