April 29 Heart Words

The "Tao Te Ching" says: "The gusty wind does not last all morning, and the sudden rain does not last all day." The wild wind will not blow continuously, and the heavy rain will not last throughout the day. Everything in the world has its beginnings and ends. Excessive worry and anxiety will only exhaust the mind and harm the spirit, causing unnecessary suffering. By not exhausting tomorrow's troubles, and making the most of each moment, we can live a fulfilling life.

As we grow into adulthood, we bear burdens and responsibilities, and we need a strong body to face the trials of life. A calm mindset, neither prideful nor fearful, is the best way to nurture health. As the old saying goes: "Do not cling to the past, do not be distracted in the present, do not worry about the future."

May we not get too entangled in the past, not have distractions in the present, and not empty our minds worrying about the future. In the rest of our lives, may we nurture our souls, treat ourselves well, and achieve a life of peace and well-being. #ANfDAO
