What is Vaulta?
Vaulta is a rebranding of the EOS network, originally launched in 2018, aimed at providing a scalable blockchain platform for decentralized applications (dApps). Due to low adoption rates, EOS transitioned to Vaulta, focusing on Web3 banking solutions.
Its features and developments include support for stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, aimed at integrating traditional banking with decentralized finance (DeFi). It launched VirgoPay in collaboration with VirgoCX, a cross-border payment application utilizing stablecoins. In May 2025, EOS tokens will be exchanged for Vaulta tokens, marking a new phase.
Future prospects include Vaulta enhancing financial inclusion through blockchain technology, reducing costs, and increasing transparency, which may reshape global financial services. However, its market positioning and regulatory challenges remain to be observed.
