Dubai just approved Jebel Ali Beach, a 6.6-kilometre stretch set to be the city’s longest public shoreline.
Spanning 330 hectares, the plan layers five kilometres of sand, a 1.6-kilometre mangrove walk, dive spots, kid zones and a turtle-rehab sanctuary where guests can watch rescues glide home.
Sheikh Hamdan frames it as step one in bumping public beaches by 400 percent while the Metro races to 140 stations by 2040 and Al Maktoum Airport gears up for 260 million travelers on a Dhs128 billion makeover.
