How I use P2P on Binance and what I recommend to beginners

When I first started to understand crypto, P2P seemed a bit sketchy. Like: "Come on, transferring money to strangers?". But now I regularly exchange hryvnias for USDT via P2P — and everything is fine if you follow simple rules.

Here’s what I use myself and recommend to anyone who wants to buy or sell crypto without intermediaries:

1. I look at the rating and reviews.

If the seller has 500+ deals and 98–100% completed — it's a reliable choice. Such people rarely let you down.

2. I pay only after clicking "Pay".

Binance locks the crypto at the moment the deal starts. I never send money "on trust".

3. I always take a screenshot during payment.

This way it will be easier to prove my case if something goes wrong.

4. I ignore requests to transfer money "to a friend's/mom's card".

This is a red flag that it could be a scam. Transfers should only be made to the name specified in the deal.

5. If something freezes — I first write, then I click "Dispute".

Binance really resolves disputed situations, but the key is to stay calm and keep evidence.

I have already done about ten such deals — everything is clear, without delays. If you're interested, I can make a separate guide on how to buy USDT from scratch through P2P — step by step, with screenshots.
