Canadian firm injects $500 MILLION to buy and STAKE #sol
SOL Strategies Inc., a Canadian public company focused on the Solana ecosystem, has announced an innovative financing agreement. The company has signed a convertible note facility of up to $500 million with ATW Partners.
This agreement marks a milestone in digital asset financing, as the capital will be exclusively allocated to the purchase of SOL tokens.
The acquired SOL tokens will be staked in validators directly operated by SOL Strategies.
"In accordance with the Credit Line, the Company will issue Bonds with a total principal amount of USD 20 million as the first tranche, with additional capacity of up to USD 480 million available in subsequent disbursements, subject to certain conditions. The Initial Closing is expected to occur around May 1, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions," said SOL Strategies in a statement.
