According to PANews, Sky, formerly known as MakerDAO, announced on the X platform that voting has commenced on a proposal concerning the implementation of a delayed upgrade penalty for the transition from MKR to SKY. As part of the ongoing upgrade process, Sky Atlas has specified that the executive vote on September 18, 2025, set a 1% penalty for delayed upgrades to the new MKR to SKY conversion contract. If the proposal is approved, starting from September 22, 2025, all MKR to SKY upgrades will incur a 1% penalty. Subsequently, the penalty for delayed upgrades will increase by 1% every three months.
