Banks lock capital in pre-funded nostro and vostro accounts just to settle those payments, capital that earns nothing while it sits there. Ripple's treasury infrastructure now plugs into Swift's partner network, reducing that friction. Capture 1% of that flow and you get $1.5 trillion in annual settlement demand.
Add tokenization. BIS projects $16 trillion in tokenized assets by 2030, each requiring settlement when ownership changes. At 1% capture, that's $160 billion more.
Add nostro/vostro migration. $10 trillion sits idle in those accounts globally. Freeing 5% adds $500 billion more.
