As we know, the market moves in cycles, the price does not go up or down all at once (except for isolated exceptions), so it is important to know what moment we are in to make the best decisions for our trading.
That's where trends come into play, but what are trends?🤷
⭐Basically, it is the direction that the price has at a given moment in time.⭐
There are 3 types of basic trend:
💥Bullish: The price creates higher and higher highs and lows
💥Bearish: The price creates lower and lower highs and lows
💥Laterality, range or accumulation: the price is "stagnant" between 2 amounts, without going up or down.
As shown in the example image, within the graph (in this case $XLM with 2-hour candles) we can find the 3 trends represented. 😎
Generally, after a trend comes a range, and then either continue with the trend or make a change in it, this will depend on several factors that we will learn in the coming days. 👍
It may seem like something basic, but no less important. Taking the trend into account can be key to being winners in this world.
