In simple terms, Gavin provided his thoughts on the following issues:
1. How will the Bootstrap service of JAM develop?
Gavin believes that the Bootstrap services currently being developed by Parity are not yet complete, but will continue to improve over the next few months, with richer features and clearer documentation.
However, just as there are many different versions of a computer's BIOS, there may be multiple teams developing their own Bootstrap services in the future. Each service can choose to implement part of or an extended version of Parity's standard format as needed. This means that Bootstrap services in the future will be diverse and interchangeable, rather than controlled solely by Parity.
1. How will the Bootstrap service of JAM develop?
Gavin believes that the Bootstrap services currently being developed by Parity are not yet complete, but will continue to improve over the next few months, with richer features and clearer documentation.

Gavin always describes his starting point quite modestly: a friend told him that someone was working on a new protocol called Ethereum that needed someone to implement it. He picked up the white paper, started writing code, without any grand narrative or planned career path.
What happened later, we all know: Ethereum was born, the yellow paper emerged, and an industry began to take shape.
But Gavin said: "Writing code is the starting point of everything and the most reliable path."
Today's JAM is at the same early stage. The protocol is still taking shape, the client is still being implemented, and many key parts remain to be explored.
Because of this, it provides a real opportunity for builders just like Gavin had back then — the ability to influence the underlying design, to drive standards, and to determine how future developers will use it.

A few key developments worth noting:
🔹 Released JAM DUNA v0.7, supporting multi-client tiny testnet, marking the official entry of the testnet into the "multi-client parallel validation" era.
🔹 Drafted M1/M2 milestone documentation.
🔹 Advanced M3: Linear Recompilation.
🔹 Joint testing of JAM + Grandpa + warp sync.
🔹 The challenge checklist also includes key tasks such as CorePlay PoC, Grandpa+Auditing parallel execution, etc.
