Tether recently announced that it supported an "integrative" international operation between the Royal Thai Police and the U.S. Secret Service. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 12 million USDT (worth about 400 million Thai Baht) linked to a "large-scale fraud network operating across multiple locations in Southeast Asia".

It is noted that the operation was carried out by the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) in Thailand, which is part of the country's efforts to combat online fraud and money laundering.

The Royal Thai Police stated that law enforcement authorities arrested "73 suspects, including 51 Thai nationals and 22 foreigners, and seized assets worth over 522 million Thai Baht".
