#Trump2025 🔥U.S. President Donald Trump ordered on Tuesday a "total and complete" blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers entering or leaving Venezuela.
In a post on Truth Social, he accused Venezuela of stealing U.S. assets, such as oil and land, and of "terrorism, drug trafficking, and human trafficking".
"Therefore, today I order a total and complete blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers that enter or leave Venezuela," he added.
This comes a week after the United States seized a tanker off the coast of Venezuela, a move that represents a significant escalation in Washington's pressure campaign against the government of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. In his post on Tuesday, President Trump said that "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America," referring to the deployment of the U.S. military in the area. It will only grow larger, and the impact it will have on them will be something never seen before, until they return to the United States of America all the oil, land, and other assets they previously stole from us".
He also accused Maduro's government of using stolen oil to "fund themselves, drug-related terrorism, human trafficking, murders, and kidnappings".
Venezuela has not yet responded to Trump's latest statements.
