Michael Saylor and his company Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) are not stopping. In February 2025, they purchased 20,356 BTC for nearly $2 billion at an average price of $97,514 per coin. This was their largest purchase in the last two months.
As of the end of February, Strategy owns 499,096 BTC, with a total value of approximately $33.1 billion. The average purchase price is $66,357 per bitcoin. This is nearly 2.4% of the total maximum supply of BTC that will ever be available.
And although in March the company purchased another 130 BTC for $10.7 million, this was their smallest purchase since August 2024.
Personally, I see this as a clear signal: big players not only believe in bitcoin — they are betting on it. And if people like Saylor continue to buy, then perhaps this is not the end of the upward journey yet.
