Bitcoin’s looking different this time around.
In the past, people would switch between Bitcoin and altcoins—basically moving money around like a cycle. But now, new money is pouring into Bitcoin from regular folks, big institutions, even governments. And it’s not going into altcoins.
Altcoins are struggling because holders are selling them to cover expenses, not to buy more Bitcoin. That’s what you’d call capitulation.
And as for Bitcoin holders? They’re not selling their BTC to go buy altcoins. In fact, they probably won’t ever.
Altcoins need fresh money coming in from somewhere else.
