Ontology’s mainnet remains offline as of September 1 after developers confirmed that the network was targeted by malicious attack activity. The blockchain was paused on August 31 as a containment measure after the team identified a potential security concern during a routine check.

Ontology says there is currently no evidence that user assets, including $ONT and $ONG were compromised. The team is using the shutdown to investigate the incident, apply remediation measures, conduct testing and undergo a third-party security review before restoring block production. Developers are targeting a possible reopening within 24 hours, but only if security checks are successfully completed.

Erst wenn der Kurs innerhalb von 1 Stunde wieder über 0.122 zurückkommt, gilt das als Bestätigung für ein zweites Quetschen. Wenn der Kurs innerhalb von 1 Stunde unter 0.1085 schließt, ist der Rebound dieser Runde gescheitert – dann weiter abwarten.
