كنت أعتقد أن تبنّي تقنية البلوك تشين سيظل محدودًا بسبب التكنولوجيا.
كلما درست التمويل المؤسسي أكثر، قلّ إيماني بأن هذا صحيح.
ما يبطّئ الأنظمة المالية الكبيرة ليس دائمًا سرعة المعاملات.
بل هو زمن اتخاذ القرار.
تمرّ كل الأصول الخاضعة للتنظيم عبر طبقات من الموافقات، والتحقق من الامتثال، والمسؤوليات القانونية، والمراجعات التشغيلية قبل أن يتحرك أي شيء فعليًا.
وهذا غيّر تمامًا نظرتي إلى DUSK.
كلما تعمّقت في عقود الأمان السرّية (XSC)، كلما توقفت عن التفكير في الخصوصية باعتبارها العنوان الرئيسي.
بدلًا من ذلك، بدأت بطرح سؤال مختلف:
هل يمكن للبنية التحتية الأفضل أن تقلّل من حالة عدم اليقين التي تُبطئ القرارات المؤسسية؟
كنت أتأمل كيف تعمل الأسواق المالية بالفعل.
التكنولوجيا وحدها لا تُسرّع التبنّي.
الثقة تفعل ذلك.
عندما يفهم كل مشارك مسؤولياته، تبقى المعلومات الحساسة محمية، ويمكن إثبات الامتثال دون تعرّض غير ضروري، ويصبح اتخاذ القرار نفسه أكثر قابلية للتنبؤ.
بالنسبة لي، يُعدّ هذا أحد أكثر الطرق إثارة للاهتمام للتفكير في DUSK.
قد لا تأتي قيمتها طويلة الأجل من جعل المعاملات أسرع بشكل ملحوظ.
قد تأتي من خلق بيئة يمكن فيها اتخاذ قرارات خاضعة للتنظيم بثقة أكبر وتردد تشغيلي أقل.
إنها مشكلة أكثر صعوبة في الحل—وربما أكثر معنى.

One thing I've changed my mind about over the past few months is what actually makes financial infrastructure efficient.
I used to think it was all about reducing transaction costs.
Now I think the bigger opportunity is reducing coordination costs.
That's what kept coming back to me while I was studying DUSK.
Moving an asset is rarely the hardest part.
Making sure issuers, investors, custodians, compliance teams, and regulators can all interact under clear rules—without exposing unnecessary information—is where complexity usually appears.
The more I explored Confidential Security Contracts (XSC), the more I started viewing them through that lens.
They're not simply about confidential execution.
They're about creating an environment where different participants can coordinate around the same regulated asset while each sees only the information appropriate to their role.
I've been thinking about how institutional adoption actually happens.
Organizations don't scale because every process becomes simpler.
They scale because coordination becomes more predictable.
For me, that's one of the most overlooked ideas behind DUSK.
If blockchain is going to support regulated financial markets, reducing coordination friction may ultimately matter more than reducing transaction friction.
That's the question I'll keep watching as this space evolves.
