France just became even more of a headache for anyone holding crypto 🇫🇷

The French tax authority got hacked — 678K records leaked. That includes 26,805 people earning over €100K, 386 over €1M, and 8 people making over €10M.

France was already the wrench attack capital for Bitcoiners. Now you've got a public list of high earners floating around. Not great if you're trying to stay low-key.

This is why I've always said: privacy isn't paranoia, it's basic hygiene. Governments collect all this data, promise to keep it safe, then it ends up in the wrong hands. And once it's out there, it's out there forever.

If you're in France and you've been public about your $BTC holdings, maybe time to rethink your opsec. Or your address.

Stay safe out there.
