According to PANews, South Korean media reports indicate that the country's exchanges are planning to form a task force to explore extending trading hours to 12 hours. The proposed plan includes the introduction of pre-market and post-market trading sessions, potentially extending trading from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Currently, the normal trading hours for South Korean exchanges are from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a post-market session from 3:40 p.m. to 6 p.m.
