New report has been released. 10 research shows lot of companies with crypto related struggle after going public. many of them lost their value from post launch-peak.
the report estimates an average decline of 73% for this group. the data from yahoo finance on July 7 also shows that 8 companies trading at average of 67.3% from their peak.
for me this is not sign of bullish. this is sign of fear.
The institution still dont want put their money on defi.
lack of trust. The value of crypto itself decline in their eyes. no transparancy and access control in defi. this why newton protocol is important.
@NewtonProtocol after IPO, investors don't have a way for checking real time what these company do with their crypto assets. I think if they can start to check the assets on-time, they will trusting back to defi.
trust = more valuation.
I also found the risk is about insider abuse. If these company apply newt technology, this can be prevented. newton protocol can make the granular permissions. so not everyone in the company can act freely.
I was oppose this idea at first. But after seeing lot of scam in defi. this is requires.
To many case of insider scam happen to grab liquidity from investors. I dont like it. like a lot.
What I and retail investors expect is more than transparancy.
Blockchain should be a place where the transaction can be monitored.
On-chain and On-time.
This is where the newton explorer can work. checking TVL and financial risk.
I actually have been traumatized. getting liquidated because TVL is drained.
Even though technology in Newton is good but I think it's not good enough.
What if the DeFi vault become vurnerable in quantum era??
Newton can't even access the vault. They even barely survive their own network.
Audit trail that newton give is not good enough. it's make me don't interested in newt token.
Well we gonna see it from now. I need newton team to propose how they will fighting this quantum. building infrastructure authorization layer is not enough. something bigger need to be prepaped facing the quantum computing for newton.
