BD for each and every project is different. You can't go with the BD strategy you made for a launchpad and apply it to a protocol. Similarly you can't implement the same strategies you do for protocol for a marketing agencies.

The real BD skills lies in the strenght of your strategy and the pipeline, if your pipeline is shit, strategy doesn't matter and vice versa.

I always advice my fellow BDs to prioritize conversations over selling in the first DM you send. Treat the other person a human and not have the $$ sign in your eyes when reaching out.

The genuine connections I made were not transactional, but just a 10 minute call to hear the other person's story of how he got onboarded to crypto.

Not everything is transactional, sometimes talk to people out of curiosity and you never know when you need them to help you out 🙏🏻
