Joking aside having multiple coins is very good for your portfolio. Even in these days bloodbath there are coins which go up and having one or two suprise coins balances your portfolio.
Another important point is delisting. Whrn binance delists a coin they usually (but not always) go down. Having 30% of your portfolio go down or 5% go down makes a big difference.
Adapt to your time. When there were 100 coins it was easier to catch unicorns now there are more than 25k coins and around 400 in
