Former President Donald $TRUMP has signed the GENIUS Act, the first official U.S. law for crypto, and it mainly focuses on stablecoins. While some say itās a big step forward, others warn itās more about government control than crypto freedom.
What the Law Does:
Stablecoins are now legal in the U.S., but only if they follow strict rules.
Every stablecoin must be backed 1-to-1 with real U.S. dollars.
(1 coin = $1 in reserves).
The U.S. Treasury (Finance Department) now has the power to freeze any transaction it finds suspicious ā instantly.
Companies that issue coins must follow strict rules:
