Former diplomat Sufiur has been appointed as a special assistant to the chief advisor. Sufiur Rahman has been appointed with the status of state minister. He will serve in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Breaking news, 47 Bangladeshis detained at Johannesburg airport in South Africa. Around 47 Bangladeshi nationals and fifty other passengers from other countries were detained by border guards at OR Tambo International Airport, after passing through immigration and collecting their baggage, on different flights last night. However, it has not yet been specifically stated what crime these passengers have been detained for. So far, all of these 47 Bangladeshis and citizens of other countries have been detained by the airport authorities. It is likely that all of them will be sent back to their respective countries.#
