🧠 6 years of investing and not-so-new lessons: Cutting losses is still a vital skill "Stop-Limit"
After more than 5 years of investing in stocks and nearly a year in crypto, I have drawn a simple conclusion:
➡️ If you don't control risk, then profit is only temporary.
The crypto market fluctuates too quickly.
You can wake up one morning to a change of several tens of percent – in either direction.
The Stop-Limit order gives me a way to exit the market when it no longer moves in the right direction, without panicking or executing slower than the market.
👉 How I use it:
• Stop = warning point
• Limit = price level I accept to exit
→ The market is dropping sharply? The order triggers automatically. I still retain most of my capital.
✅ Not to “get rich quick,” but to avoid losing quickly.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trader, Stop-Limit is a tool you should understand – and use early before the market teaches you a lesson.

📚 I read books, take courses, listen to experts.
❌ But still losing.
