I placed a highly leveraged trade on Ethereum using KinCross exchange, opting for an 80x leverage position. At the time, ETH seemed poised for a breakout, with indicators showing bullish momentum. I went long, confident that the price would continue climbing. However, the market had other plans.
Within a short period, Ethereum's price dipped sharply due to sudden market volatility and unexpected macroeconomic news. My liquidation price came too close, and before I could react, the position was forcefully liquidated.
