US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced a shift in strategy for expanding the nation’s strategic BTC reserve, established under President Trump’s order.
The goal is to strengthen America’s position as a “Bitcoin superpower” without direct budgetary spending.
Interestingly, just a day earlier, Bessent insisted that reserves would only grow through seized crypto assets, with no BTC sales or gold revaluation.
