To assess security, one cannot simply look at a single "staking amount" to draw conclusions.
Secondly, the threshold for participating in Solana's staking is lower, and the annualized yield is higher, which naturally attracts more participants. However, this does not directly reflect the degree of decentralization of the nodes, the network's resistance to attacks, or the maturity of the code.
Ethereum's security comes from its large network of validators, the long-standing stability of its mainnet, and the high level of trust in its consensus mechanism from the entire chain ecosystem. Although Solana has developed rapidly, its network has experienced multiple outages in the past, and its validator distribution is more centralized, which are all risk factors that cannot be overlooked.
