Flight With First Batch Of Indian Students Lands In Delhi After Iran Lifts Airspace Restrictions
The flight carrying Indian students from Iran landed in Delhi at around 11.40 pm on Friday night after Tehran lifted airspace restrictions exclusively for Indian evacuation flights under Operation Sindhu. 1000 students are set to return to Delhi in the next two days as a part of the evacuation program conducted by India to evacuate Indians from conflict-hit Iranian cities, NDTV reported. Iran's airspace remains closed for most international flights following missile and drone attacks. Thousands of Indians are stuck in conflict-hit Iranian cities. Among the 4,000 Indian nationals, there are more than 1500 students, mostly from Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, on Monday, Iran responded to Indiaโs evacuation request, saying, โGiven the current condition and the closure of the country's airports, as well as the request of many political missions to transfer their diplomats and nationals abroad, we inform that all land borders are open for crossing.โ Though the airspace remained closed as Israel continued to bomb several targets in Iran, the Foreign Minister of Iran gave green light to the evacuation mission through land borders.

Parliament speaker: โ200 percent sureโ Lebanon will not enter war
Lebanonโs Nabih Berri, the influential Parliament speaker, highest-ranking Shia politician in the country and close ally of Hezbollah, spoke to local MTV News last night, expressing his assuredness that Lebanon would not join Iran in any war against Israel.
โI am 200% sure Lebanon will not enter a war,โ Berri told the network, โbecause it has no interest in doing so and would pay a heavy price.โ
โIran does not need us,โ he added. โIt is Israel that needs support.โ
His comments come amid talk from both Iran, Israel and the US about whether or not Hezbollah will be activated to support Iran with attacks against Israel.
The group as so far signaled that it is sitting this one out, but its close ally Iran may pressure it to get involved should the US also enter the war on Israelโs side.
A hospital in the Israeli town of Beersheba has been hit as Iran fired a barrage of missiles at the country, with the conflict between the two nations continuing into a seventh day.
Iran said it had targeted a military site close to the hospital, not the facility itself. With strikes being reported in several locations across Israel, the country's health ministry said 271 people had been injured.
After visiting the Soroka Medical Centre on Thursday, Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz said Iran's supreme leader "can no longer be allowed to exist".
Meanwhile, Israel's military said it had targeted Iran's nuclear sites including the "inactive" Arak heavy water reactor and Natanz facility. #PowellRemarks #BinanceSquareTalks
