$WLD I have been closely following the Worldcoin project, and I confess that I have mixed feelings. The proposal is bold: to create a global digital identity and distribute universal basic income via blockchain. In theory, it seems revolutionary — especially in an increasingly digital and decentralized world.

But at the same time, I have reservations when it comes to biometrics and privacy. Scanning the iris to ensure a unique identity? It sounds like something out of a science fiction movie, and it makes me question how much we are willing to give up our privacy in the name of innovation.

I see potential in the technology and the idea of financial inclusion, but I believe we need to stay vigilant. Not all innovations come without risks.
