On May 23, 2025, around 8 PM, I noticed that Ethereum was rapidly declining. During the sharp drop to 2650, I was chatting with friends and scrolling through Douyin in the dormitory. After observing the fluctuation, I decisively entered the market when the price rebounded to 2618, opening 10 short positions on Ethereum, quickly profiting 300 USDT. Subsequently, I watched as the decline continued and held until 2550, with an unrealized profit of 618 USDT. Considering that Bitcoin's price had been consolidating at a high level for 2 days, this drop seemed significant. I decisively increased my position by adding 10 more Ethereum contracts at 2558, bringing my total to 20 contracts. I set the take-profit at 2508, and in less than half an hour, I quickly took profit, earning 1500 USDT.
The weekend market is slow + after having a satisfying trade, I decided to refrain from trading and took a day to calm down.
Personal market analysis, the overall trend remains upward. It is advisable to wait for a major correction before entering long positions. Currently, I suggest staying in cash and observing. If one must trade, focus on short positions during the weekend, primarily on high shorts and short trades.
