In the "Twilight Layer," invisible to mortals, there have been two major spirit beast races since ancient times:
1. [Moon Shadow Cat Clan]: Silver-whiskered guardians who can travel through dreams and see through lies, each whisker is engraved with ancient prophecies.
2. [Blazing Sun Dog Clan]: Warriors who control the beacon flame, their blood flows with golden spiritual fire that can heal wounds.
Together, they guarded the "Fuzzless Ones" (humans) until the "War of Broken Alliance" a hundred years ago turned the two races against each other...

Chapter 1: The Last Guardian Partners
The night the mechanic apprentice A Tuo picked up the three-legged black dog "Iron Claw" happened to be a total lunar eclipse. He didn't notice the flame patterns etched on the dog's collar, nor did he notice the orange cat "Amber" who always squatted on the discarded tire, her pupils shimmering with silver starlight.
When a truck rushed towards the little girl who had sneaked out late at night, Iron Claw suddenly swelled to the size of a pony, picked up the child's collar and leaped over a three-meter-high wall. And Amber had already torn at A Tuo's trouser leg before the headlights came on, cat claws scratching glowing warning symbols on the ground.
"You violated Article 3 of the 'Concealment Code'!" Amber hissed, her fur bristling, staring at Iron Claw, who was shrinking back to his original size. "You actually revealed your Blazing Sun form in front of humans!"
"Should I reveal that you cheated using your Moon Shadow Vision?" Iron Claw wagged his tail, then suddenly pricked up his ears: "...There's a putrid smell, the 'Dark Shaper' is here."
A tar-like monster seeped out of the shadow of the corner, a dark realm creature that feeds on human nightmares. Amber arched her back and let out a high-frequency hiss, instantly frosting the glass within a five-mile radius; Iron Claw stepped out with burning paw prints and fiercely bit the monster's throat.
When A Tuo arrived with the girl's parents, they only saw the limping black dog licking the wound on his front paw, and the orange cat sitting gracefully on the fire hydrant. In the moonlight, two strands of light, one gold and one silver, quietly wrapped around the children's wrists - this is the mark of guardians forming a contract.
(Chapter 2 will reveal: the bookstore owner is actually the previous generation of Moon Shadow Guardian, and the car repair shop hides the "Day and Night Wheel" that suppresses the dark realm...)
