Has this wave of market decline reached its bottom? When can altcoins finally see the end?
Today is January 27, 2025, Monday. Good evening, brothers! The day after tomorrow is New Year's Eve, but the recent market has been quite bleak, falling little by little and gradually shattering the already fragile spirits of retail investors. Many people probably won't have a comfortable New Year this year. Think about this time last year, when Bitcoin was around $40,000, and everyone was happily celebrating, while this year Bitcoin is already above $100,000, yet no one can feel happy.
It's not that the market is bad, but looking at the prices in recent days, they have been stuck at high levels without going down, and the turnover rate is so low that it reminds me of the eight months of garbage time last year. Buyers feel the prices are too high, and sellers feel they are losing, making the market's sentiment as cold and biting as the winter wind.
Pantera Capital CEO predicts Bitcoin will reach $117,000 in August 2025
According to TechFlow, Pantera Capital CEO Dan Morehead predicted in the Bankless podcast that Bitcoin will reach the peak of a new bull market cycle in August 2025, with a target price of $117,000.
Morehead pointed out that Bitcoin price movements follow a four-year halving cycle, with the impact of the halving event usually beginning to appear 400 days before it occurs and reaching a peak about 480 days later.
Morehead said that the market environment in 2025 will be very favorable, not only benefiting from the halving effect, but also supported by political and macroeconomic factors.
