We’ve all been there. You buy a coin at $1. It pumps to $3. You’re already calculating your “early retirement plan” and thinking of buying a Lambo. But then you think: “Hmm… maybe I’ll wait for $5. Why settle for less?!”

Why Do We Do This to Ourselves?

Because greed is our favorite trading strategy. 🙃 We keep thinking it’ll keep going up, forgetting that crypto moves faster than our emotions can process.
The worst part? We never had an exit plan.

So… How Do We Avoid Becoming a HODL Clown?
1. Set profit targets before entering a trade.
Example: “If it goes up 30%, I’ll take out at least half.” (Simple, but life-saving.)
2. Use a Trailing Stop-Loss.
This magical tool lets you lock in profit while still letting the price run.
Example: Price hits $3 → Set trailing stop at 10%. If it drops, you exit automatically with gains. If it keeps going up, your stop moves up with it.
3. Take profits in parts.
Sell 25% at your first target, another 25% later, and let the rest ride.
This way you’re never fully out, but you’re also not crying when it dumps.

The Moral of the Story

Crypto doesn’t care about your dreams of buying an island. 🌴
Have a plan. Lock in those gains. And for the love of Satoshi, don’t wait for “just a little higher” — that’s how bags are born.
