The jump occurred after the announcement that the 220 largest holders of the coin, which is currently valued at $14.02, reflecting a rise of 48.11%, will be invited to an official dinner with the president in Washington.
The value of $TRUMP rose to a maximum of $14.44 before stabilizing around $14, which indicates a rise of more than 45% in 24 hours. Among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, $TRUMP is currently showing the best performance.
The invitation for the dinner, set to take place on May 22 at Trump’s private National Golf Club in Washington, was announced on the official website of the meme coin. The site also reports that the 25 largest token holders will be invited to a reception and a special VIP tour of the White House.
