Fainting is a person losing consciousness for a short period (minutes) as a result of a lack of blood supply to the brain cells necessary for their work... In most cases, the injured person regains consciousness after falling to the ground as a result of the blood reaching the brain in sufficient quantities, and in other cases the person loses consciousness completely.
Causes of fainting: - Severe pain. - Loss of a large amount of blood. - Lack of oxygen supply to the brain. - Being struck by lightning, extreme cold or extreme heat. - Inhaling toxic gases or bad air. - Physical fatigue, childbirth, fear, panic, surprise, joy, strong smells, tight belts, heart disease, severe weakness.....etc. General symptoms and signs: - Behavioral disturbance (dizziness). - Temporary loss of consciousness and the injured person may fall to the ground. - Slow pulse. - Pale skin.
