Sony is attacking the Web3 music market! Soneium launches NFT, an album only sells for 2 mg?
Sony blockchain platform officially releases the first music NFT
Sony's blockchain platform Soneium announced yesterday (2/7) that it has partnered with Web3 music label Coop Records to launch the platform's first music NFT series. This release is an unreleased work from Tokyo music producer NUU$HI, which is currently available on Soneium’s NFT trading market Sonova.
This 22-minute music NFT is priced at only 0.000777 ETH (about US$2.11). The total expected issuance is 999,000 copies, and 4,756 copies have been sold so far. This cooperation symbolizes Sony's official entry into the Web3 music market and demonstrates the traditional entertainment giant's positive attitude towards the application of blockchain technology.
