#TradingPairs101 🔁 A trading pair is basically the exchange between two currencies. Example: BTC/USDT = you are buying or selling Bitcoin using Tether (USDT). 💰
🟢 If you buy BTC/USDT, you are spending USDT to get BTC. 🔴 If you sell, you are receiving USDT in exchange for your BTC.
💡 And why do pairs like ETH/BTC exist? Because sometimes you don't convert to dollars… You exchange from one crypto to another! 🔄
#OrderTypes101 🔵 Limit Order You choose the price. Example: “I want to buy BTC at $60,000.” It executes only if someone accepts that price. 👌 Ideal if you are not in a rush and want a good price.
🟠 Stop-Loss Order It serves to protect you. Example: “If BTC drops to $55,000, sell everything!” Prevents you from losing more than you want. 🛑
🟣 Take Profit Order The opposite: “If it rises to $70,000, sell and take profits.” Automate your winning exit. 🎯
#Liquidity101 💧 Liquidity = Ease of buying or selling without moving the price too much. In other words: Do you want to sell your crypto? If there is good liquidity, you sell quickly and at a good price. 💸 If there is low liquidity... You have to wait, or sell cheap. 😩
📈 On exchanges like Uniswap, liquidity is provided by users. Yes, people like you. They deposit token pairs and earn commissions. 🤑 They are called Liquidity Providers.
#TradingTypes101 🎯 TRADING TYPES 101: What type of trader are you? 📈. 1️⃣ Scalper ⚡ 🕒 Operates in minutes or seconds 📊 Seeks small movements 🔥 High frequency of trades 🧠 Requires total focus and speed
2️⃣ Day Trader 🌞 📆 Opens and closes trades on the same day 📉 Avoids leaving trades open overnight ✅ Uses technical analysis and news of the day 👨💻 Ideal if you can dedicate several hours
3️⃣ Swing Trader 🌙 🗓️ Holds positions for days or weeks 🔍 Relies on trends and technical analysis 🧘 Requires patience and emotional control
4️⃣ Position Trader (or investor) 🏦 📅 Holds trades for months or years 📈 Focuses on fundamentals and macro trends 💤 Low frequency, but larger movements
#CEXvsDEX101 CEX: Centralized Exchange Like Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken. They are companies that manage your money for you. Easy to use. Good support. But… you do not have the private keys! 🔐 If the platform goes down, you could lose everything. 😬
🌐 DEX: Decentralized Exchange Like Uniswap or PancakeSwap. There are no intermediaries. You control your funds. More freedom, more privacy. But you need to know a bit more to avoid making mistakes. 💡
✅ CEX = comfortable but centralized ✅ DEX = free but under your responsibility
💬 Which one do you prefer? The security of a CEX or the freedom of a DEX? Tell me in the comments! 👇
