The Japanese investment company, Metaplanet, is becoming increasingly aggressive in becoming a BTC giant. Recently, they added 1,112 BTC worth approximately \$117.2 million, at an average price of \$105,435 per coin.
With this addition, their total Bitcoin collection officially exceeds 10,000 BTC! This means they now hold digital assets equivalent to \$947 million, with an average acquisition price around \$94,697/BTC.
Even more impressively, Metaplanet has officially surpassed Coinbase and is comfortably in 7th place among the largest corporate Bitcoin holders in the world. Not just passing through, they have an ambitious target: 210,000 BTC by 2027—equivalent to 1% of the total Bitcoin supply!
From Tokyo to blockchain, Metaplanet's move is making the market more confident: Asian institutions are also starting to go all-in on BTC.
And this is not FOMO, but a long-term accumulation strategy.
