First, there are a lot of unlocks at midnight tonight, and many think it’s a mindless short on the contract! This is incorrect in actual operations. The best choice is not to take a position but to be an observer and watch its (market maker's) operating patterns!! See if there’s a short squeeze spike!
Second, if you can’t resist and want to take a position, consider using 10-30% of your total amount for contracts. To prevent the market maker from pushing prices up to trigger shorts, consider placing limit shorts in the 8.1-8.6 range.
Third, to prevent a rapid drop that triggers longs, you can place limit longs between 5.3 and 6.
Regardless of long or short, always set a psychological stop-loss! Take profit at your discretion.
Fourth, after placing two limit orders for long and short positions, you can short a few small orders when the coin rises to earn some extra money for staying up late.
Fifth, if the market passively drops, you can take out a portion of your remaining funds to buy some spot at lower prices. Depending on your preference, you can trade short-term or long-term.
The aforementioned trading methods are also applicable to other coins. At the time, there are many trading methods and techniques in actual operations that I won't elaborate on here.
