Today I opened a long position on the ETH/USDT perpetual futures pair using 10x leverage. I saw a strong breakout from a resistance level around $3,520 after a period of consolidation. Based on that, I entered at $3,530 and placed my stop-loss at $3,480 to control risk. I set my take profit at $3,650. After some volatility, the price moved in my favor and hit my target, resulting in a 12% profit on that trade. Futures trading involves more risk, so I always try to manage my position size carefully. I'm learning how to use trendlines and breakout confirmation for better entries and exits. This trade gave me more confidence in my strategy and helped me better understand the market structure.
