The MapleStory blockchain game starts tomorrow until the end of the month, and we need to increase the neso coin drops from boss fights. It takes 100,000 neso coins dropped in-game to exchange for one nxpc token, and the current price of nxpc is 2.6u.

It seems that since the server opened yesterday, there has been quite a bit of player loss. Players who grind for 24 hours to level their characters to 200+ find that the neso tokens dropped in a day are too few. Players are exhausted, yet the output is minimal. In the afternoon, I saw trading groups selling accounts, and it seems that the accounts are not selling well. It appears that having a 30u profit in a day for characters above level 200 is quite good, but one must play very skillfully. After deducting the 100 RMB daily training fee, a net profit of 110 RMB feels a bit low (and you still have to spend money to upgrade equipment).

Last night after finishing the MapleStory server launch live stream at Binance Square (after the live stream started at 7:10 pm, I couldn't access the server for over an hour and just chatted with players), I stayed up late to play for 2 hours. I reached level 10 but couldn't continue; just like in the last test, it was too difficult. When I encountered the quest to collect 30 orange mushrooms, I just couldn't get past it and got killed by the orange mushrooms... Today, I thought several times whether to go in and continue, but ultimately decided against it; it's too grindy and my skills are too poor, so I don't want to engage.

I estimate that the game's retention rate is a bit low, and increasing gold drops is a necessary move.

Can't beat the event contract, planning to write high-tech myself.

Here's the thing, I previously saw several robot writers in the square and was thinking of checking them out. However, I accidentally lost my browsing history and haven't found any high-tech stuff in the square until recently.

I thought to myself, I’ve been a coder for three years, and I still have so many servers sitting idle, it’s time to shine～

So!! I took the first step, today marks the beginning. First, I used ws to get real-time index prices from bybit because their data comes in super fast, several data points every second.
Unlike biance that’s stingy with their updates, they only send one every three seconds. Anyway, the index price itself is just an average from many exchanges, so it doesn’t matter where it comes from, and besides, the price difference between the two isn’t that big.

The second step is to write the strategy.
Damn, I found this part really hard to write. I searched online and discovered that I actually need to look at the 24H chart. Later, I had no choice but to ask my mentor, who helped me write an initial version of the strategy. It is currently being tested on the machine.

However, this initial version seems a bit hard to trigger; I haven’t received any opening position messages yet.

I also wrote a win rate statistic, and I hope my fellow traders can look forward to it 🤩. Once things stabilize, I’ll share the win rate every day, but that’s not likely at the moment since it hasn’t triggered even once…
