Legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo visited Binance on May 29 to announce his fourth NFT collection. The collection will take fans through important moments of Ronaldo’s illustrious career, capitalizing on the rise in demand for one-of-a-kind digital assets.

The GOAT, Cristiano Ronaldo, took to his social media handle on X on 24th May and excited his fans with the tweet, “Are you ready to relive our journey together? My 4th NFT Collection on Binance is launching soon!”

Soon, Binance also shared the news, “Curious about Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest NFT collection?” teasing the crypto community with their illustrious collaboration. 

A Ride Down The Lane

CR7’s NFT journey began in November 2022, when he debuted his first collection on Binance. This was the first collection of his multi-year partnership with Binance and showed iconic moments of his career. The rarest items from this collection were sold at nearly $10,000.

The two have had their share of troubles, though, regarding the class-action $1 billion lawsuit against Ronaldo in December 2023. The suit alleged that he was advertising NFTs, resulting in costly customer investments. On the other hand, Binance has also just settled a $4 billion tiff with US regulators, which led to CEO Changpeng Zhao stepping down.
