Its interests in this loosely regulated sector include the emerging digital asset company 'World Liberty Financial' and the 'Trump Meme Coin,' a high-risk cryptocurrency launched just before Inauguration Day. Last week, the president attended a private dinner at his golf club in Virginia for major holders of the 'Meme Coin,' generating national news coverage. On Tuesday, Trump Media and Technology Group, in which Trump holds a majority stake, unveiled plans to raise $2.5 billion to fund a Bitcoin buying campaign.
