1. Position,
Only take large positions at the most extreme points, on the upper and lower boundaries of a large range of fluctuations. In the smaller intermediate range and support/resistance levels, choose not to trade. If I feel the urge to trade or find some opportunities microscopically, I can take small positions. Even if there are losses or market changes occur, I won't suffer significant losses in unimportant positions.

2. Location and Direction,
Most profitable trades are short positions, and they are all breakouts of key levels, directly reaching the next key range to take full profit. The duration is short, and the holding experience is relatively comfortable. Therefore, it's still better to speculate around major key levels, which offers a higher cost-effectiveness. Even if there are losses, the stop-loss is relatively tight. Moreover, if the short position was previously a support level and it breaks down quickly, being aggressive can allow for adding positions to enter short. There's a high probability that it won’t look back. Setting profit taking based on the structure, if not greedy, can be very comfortable.

3. Mindset,
On June 6, when Bitcoin first fell to the 100k level, after starting to rebound, I opened a short position around 106k. Bitcoin then went up in small steps, and I got caught in a position. I added to my position at 108k and saw exhaustion in the rise at 110k, continued to add short positions. Then, in a day and a half, Bitcoin dropped 8000 points, and not only did I get out of my position, but I also made a profit.

But why didn’t I set a stop-loss for this trade? It’s actually because my position was very small, and even if I got liquidated, it wouldn’t significantly affect my overall position. That wave of upward movement was actually driven by short-seller stop-losses or liquidations. At least, I still believe that, and I am willing to use my small position to verify it. Because almost all the positive news in the market has already been priced in, and the high bullish sentiment has been mostly worn down. If Bitcoin really rises to 130k and I get liquidated, I’ll accept it because I am prepared for that. The core of my belief is in my own judgment.

In fact, it's just a process of sensing the market and capital now. If I want to maintain a large position for a long time, a stop-loss is definitely necessary. In this leveraged market, you can be right many times, but once you're wrong, it may lead to losing it all.
