#BinancePizza Sometimes, accidents are the best stories.
Once again, it’s the annual Bitcoin Pizza Day. May 22nd is one of the biggest memes in the crypto community.
This holiday originates from the man who bought two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins, Laszlo Hanyecz. Join me as we delve into the origins of Pizza Day and the story of Laszlo Hanyecz.
On May 18, 2010, at 12:35, a user with the ID Laszlo posted a bounty on the Bitcoin forum, willing to exchange 10,000 Bitcoins for two large pizzas. The seller could make them themselves or order takeout, and in the post, he detailed his taste preferences.
The post did not immediately elicit a strong reaction, with only a few users expressing willingness to buy him pizza, but none were in the United States, so no transactions could be made. Bitcoin had only recently emerged in 2010, and the concept of trading was not yet established. At that time, 10,000 Bitcoins were worth about 30 dollars, which led Laszlo to doubt whether his offer was too low.
It wasn’t until four days later, on May 22, that Laszlo replied on the forum stating that he had successfully purchased the pizzas. He even shared a photo of the pizzas with netizens, and you could feel his excitement through the screen.
This was the first recorded transaction since the birth of Bitcoin. As the price of Bitcoin continued to rise, netizens kept updating the latest market prices for those two pizzas in the comments, and Laszlo remarked that he also did not expect Bitcoin to increase in value so rapidly. $BTC

38961356264 Recently, BTC has been full of surprises. Suddenly, I realized that in 2010, the price was 0.1 yuan each. Looking back, the biggest regret is that when I should have bought Bitcoin, I chose to buy Q coins instead, haha. Recently, BTC has been full of surprises.
