Dear Crypto Pros: I Just Started on Binance with $10: What Should I Know Before I Buy My First Coin?
Hey crypto fam š, I recently joined Binance and deposited my firstĀ $10, like a responsible adult dipping their toes into the blockchain ocean. š Hereās the thing, though: IĀ still havenāt bought any cryptoĀ yet. Not Bitcoin. Not ETH. Not even the tempting meme coins like Doge or Pepe. š¶šø Iāve just beenĀ watching,Ā learning, andĀ trying not to panicĀ every time I see red and green candles I donāt understand. š Here are 5 things Iāve learned (but I need your help too š): 1. Everyone says, āDo Your Own Research.ā Cool. But⦠where? YouTube? Reddit? Binance Academy? I feel like Iām about to write a PhD thesis just to buy my first $5 of $BTC . š 2. There are more coins than I have socks $BNB $SOL , XRP, SHIB, AVAX: it's overwhelming. I donāt know whatās legit or whatās just Twitter hype. Help. š 3. People talk about āHODLingā like itās spiritual Meanwhile, Iām still figuring outĀ how to even buy in the first place. Iām on level 1 of this game. 4. Binance Academy is my survival kit Real talk: I didnāt know what gas fees, staking, or wallets were last week. Now I know just enough not to embarrass myself in crypto conversations. 5. I'm trying not to fumble the bag⦠early I want to be smart about this. Iām not looking to flip overnight or get scammed out of my first $10. I just want toĀ learn, take it slow, andĀ maybe not cry the first time I see a loss. š š¤ Over to you, experienced crypto fam: Whatās one thing you wish you knew before buying your first coin? Drop your advice in the comments or DMs. š Havenāt bought anything yet, but when I do, I want to do it right. 5 Things Iāve Learned as a Crypto Newbie on Binance (So Far š¤Æ)
I used to think crypto was just for tech bros and Elon Musk wannabes š. The charts, the coins, and the jargon felt like Wall Street had a baby with a calculator. But guess what? I signed up onĀ BinanceĀ a few weeks ago, and now⦠I kind ofget it. (Well, a little š ) If youāre also a newbie like me, here areĀ 5 things Iāve learned since joining Binance: š” 1.Ā Crypto Is Not That Complicated (Anymore) Binance makes it super beginner-friendly. Seriously, the UI is cleaner than my kitchen counter š. You can buy coins in seconds, and thereās a Lite version if youāre easily overwhelmed (like I was!). šŖ 2.Ā Not All Coins Are Created Equal I thought Bitcoin was the only ārealā coin. But nope! Coins likeĀ $SOL ,Ā $BNB ,Ā $PEPE , andĀ $WIFĀ are doing things! I learned to check utility, hype, and volume before going in on a coin. š¤ 3.Ā You Donāt Need a Lot of Money to Start I started with $10. Thatās it. And yeah, my $10 hasnāt turned into $10K (yet š ), but the point is I started. Small amounts add up, especially when you stake or set up recurring buys. š 4.Ā DYOR is Your Best Friend That meansĀ Do Your Own Research. Donāt just ape into coins 'cause TikTok said so š. Binance has a whole āLearn & Earnā section with bite-sized info, and you actually get paid to learn! Win-win šš° šØ 5.Ā FOMO Will Try to Wreck You That little voice saying āBUY NOW!ā when a coin is pumping? Ignore it š. Iāve learned to be patient, stick to a plan, and take profit when itās green. FOMO is loud, but discipline is louder. Iām still figuring things out, but Binance made my crypto journey way less scary. If youāve been sitting on the sidelines, now might be the time to jump in šāāļø #CryptoForBeginners #BinanceWrite2Earn #BNB #WIF #PEPEā #SOL #NotFinancialAdvice #CryptoLearning #Bitcoin #Altcoins #Web3 #CryptoJourneyStartsHere
š£ļøš£ļøI remember telling my brother that I feel confident about trading in stocks, but crypto was an unknown territory, so I wouldn't even venture out not that.
š Since May 2025, Iāve had the Binance app on my phone, but I haven't paid it any attention because why would I?
I remember the American billionaire and investor, Warren Buffett, saying you didn't have to get into everything. You only get into stuff you really understand.
*āNever invest in a business you cannot understand.ā*
The question Iād like to ask you is
šāHas there been anything that you've understood without taking deliberate actions to get a hang of?ā š
I donāt think so. Thatās why I downloaded some e-books.
I hope to learn more about cryptocurrency and trading. Deep inside, I feel itās going to be worthwhile, and thatās a good reason why.
ā
Inaction š š¤
Another is inaction. I wouldn't have found out about the opportunities on the platform if I hadnāt taken action. šāāļø šāāļø
The reason is the moment I finished my KYI and account verification, I read a couple of posts in Binance Square and found out I can earn some money.
All I had to do is register for āš¼āWrite to Earn.āšš»š¤øš¼āāļøš„³
Then I need to learn about DOGE, SHIB, and PEPE ā¦.. šŖ and $BTC , $ETH $BNB
The higher the risk: the bigger the reward. The bigger the reward: the higher the risk. Still the same thingā¦irrespective of the angle you look at it from.
