Trading is not just about profit—it's about patience, discipline, and lessons. Today, I faced one of the hardest hits in my trading journey with an unrealized loss of over $123,000. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but every loss carries a message. I share this not for sympathy, but to remind others: the market is ruthless, and risk management is everything. Learn from this. Stay strong. The journey continues.
$BTC is currently forming a bearish double top pattern near its all-time strong resistance zone on the weekly time frame. If we analyse it from the beginning, we will see that whenever Bitcoin has formed a double top pattern near this resistance zone, we have observed significant selling pressure in this market structure. Hence, it is likely that similar selling pressure can be observed in Bitcoin this time too ( DYOR )
Every-time this happens to most junior traders : When They think market will go up and it's going down same with the other side as well
So place your entry where the stop loss.

Today went well for me, my question is, should I keep the risk the same while the amount of money increases or should I increase the risk? And how can I get back the money I lost?
In 2017, I invested $10,000 but lost all my money within just three months. After that, I stopped trading because I realized that trading is not gambling and needed a different approach.
In 2021, I started again with $5,000 and focused on swing trading. However, I was too greedy and opened too many swing trading positions at once, leading to another loss. Despite this, I persisted and continued trading for more than six months.
Now, I have learned some important lessons: 1. Risk management is key: • Never risk more than 1-2% of the account balance per trade. 2. Always use stop-loss and take-profit orders. 3. Limit the number of trades per day: • I limit myself to a maximum of three trades per day.
My current strategy is focused on swing trading: • I look for opportunities to enter new trades daily. • If the previous day’s trades are profitable, I move my stop-loss to breakeven. This way, I’m running those trades risk-free while entering new positions. • I ensure my stop-loss is adjusted to breakeven before entering new trades to minimize risk.
My dear Friends, I'm a girl who's studying to be a Network security engineer, I have some servings in the bank but i love investing in cryptocurrencies and i wanna invest $1000 but I'm not sure what coins and when? So please i need yours recommendations based on these three questions.
1.Would it be ok to put that money to BTC?
2.Or Should i invest in Alt coins and what are those?
3.Is this the time for it or should i wait for another market dump?
