I am participating in Launchpool, theoretically, it counts as opportunity cost or capital cost; below is a screenshot explaining why I said there is no cost, because in the meantime, I got a bit itchy and opened some contracts, and even lost some handling fees, so it really is better to just keep it and earn money, after a round of operation, I thought I was the Wolf of Wall Street, but after closing the position, I found out that after paying the handling fees, I lost 250😭

On 2024/8/5, I opened a proportional grid for ETH/USDT with the remaining small amount of 950 USDT, driven by the nature of the experiment. The opening price was around $2700, following the recommendation of opening 80 grids between 2000 and 3000. The next morning, I woke up to find it had sharply dropped, and I remember the maximum floating loss was over 100 USDT. Therefore, I did not make any operations until today when ETH broke $3000, officially ending the experiment. In total, after nearly 100 days, the experiment earned 95.36 USDT, with a total return rate of 10% and an annualized APY of 38%. $ETH
Summary;
(1) If you have idle USDT, find a suitable timing to earn money from fluctuations through trading bots. An annualized return of 20%-30% feels good, at least better than just saving it.
(2) It's better to use spot trading bots for mainstream coins, as the essence is still a bullish strategy. Mainstream coins don’t carry a risk of going to zero. My initial mindset for the experiment was that even if ETH dropped below $2700, I would still buy. So even if it fell below the set lower limit of $2000, I would consider it as bottom fishing in the spot market.
(3) Because it was a small experimental nature, I initially didn't notice that ETH/FDUSD could also have a spot trading bot. If I really wanted to do it, I should use the FDUSD trading pair to avoid transaction fees. If so, this year's annualized return could be over 40%.
